Scientists in the Soviet Union have begun to wonder how big of a nuclear bomb can be made. They want bigger and more powerful bombs. This is why the Soviet Union is funding a special project to develop advanced thermonuclear weapons. The reason for this project is to advance in science. Once built, it is not our intention to use the weapon on an enemy but is purely for the advancement of our scientific capacity.
