Soviet Standing on the Greek Civil War

Becoming heavily involved in Greece’s current civil war would leave the country in ruins and in turn create greater economic distress than before. The Greek people would become divided beyond repair. The origin of Greece’s divisions lie in WWII over which side to support in the Nazi’s occupation. At the moment, the USSR believes the socialist rebels in Greece do not need our troops, but could use monetary aid.

(The Soviet Union will provide one credit to the rebel forces.)
